About
Crystal Car Wash, Elsternwick, VIC. Its Google rating sits at 2.6, so the vibe is a bit mixed. There’s an auto washing facility, an automated carwash, and a machine drier on site. There aren’t any manual/self-serve bays here; it’s a staffed, automated wash. A professional team does hand washing and detailing – you’ll sometimes see several people on a big job.
If you park up, they’ll often hand wash the car while you wait. Payments are mostly by card (FPOS), though a few reviews mention cash issues in the dog-wash area and even being charged twice on a card.
Vacuum machines are on hand for a self-serve clean, and there’s a dog wash service mentioned in reviews, along with talk of carpet cleaning as well.
Prices get described as expensive by many reviewers. Basic washes sit around the low teens to $19, external washes around $25, and wash-and-vac packages can creep toward $44, with full detailing climbing into the hundreds. Open every day from 7am to 6pm.
