Shell Car Wash (St Kilda, VIC)

Shell Car Wash (St Kilda, VIC) is a handy little spot you can roll into for a quick wash.

With a 3.7 Google rating, it’s a solid, budget-friendly choice rather than a flashy showroom experience. I’ve swung by after a beach run and found it quick enough to slot in between errands, which is handy, mate.

The setup feels practical rather than fancy. There aren’t clear notes of an automatic or touchless wash facility, and one reviewer mentioned missing brushes, hinting at a brush-based system. There is a self-service vacuum available, which is nice for a quick interior tidy.

Payment details aren’t nailed down in the reviews. The nearby servo does card payments, so most folks probably won’t have an issue, but it isn’t explicit for the wash itself.

Prices show up in a couple of reviews, with one saying $2 was poor value for the service received.

They’re open 24 hours all week, so you can pop by anytime, which is pretty convenient if you’re out late or up early.
