About
Topwash Hand Car Wash (Altona Meadows, VIC) is a friendly local spot where the team does a proper hand wash. Google rates it 4.5, and that solid 4.5 vibe comes through in the careful, friendly service. People consistently praise the staff for a thorough job inside and out, without the fuss you sometimes get elsewhere.
If you like options, there are DIY wash bays and Selbstwaschstationen for a bit of hands-on scrubbing. Vacuum cleaners are on site too, with some reviews noting you can use the self-serve vacuums. The self-wash stations and vacuums take 1 and 2 dollar coins, and it seems card payments are accepted as well for bigger services.
The place feels like a true hand wash kind of operation, not a conveyor belt. Most folks mention fair prices for the hand wash, though a few reviews say some extras can add up. It’s still a convenient, reliable stop when you want your car treated with care.
Open Tue to Sun, with hours from 8am to 6:30pm on most days, and until 7pm Thursday through Saturday. Sundays start a bit later at 8:30am.
