About
Medallion Hand Car Wash (Wheelers Hill, VIC) is a local spot folks drop by for a proper hand wash. With a Google rating of 3, it’s a straightforward place that tends to deliver what you pay for.
Staff are the stars here – hand washing, detailing, and interior cleaning, with attendants often doing the vacuuming and cleaning carpets and floor mats. Sometimes you’ll hear about a careful stain removal that makes a difference, and other times people feel the job didn’t quite match the price tag.
Prices show up in reviews, from around $40 for a wash to $250 for a full detail, and plenty say it’s pricey. Cash payments are commonly requested; one reviewer even called it cash-only. Open daily 8am-5pm.
Self Service Features
There are no self-wash/manual bays indicated; cleaning is performed by staff rather than customers.
Staff Hand Wash Services
Gold is the second-highest full-service wash. The staff clean the exterior and interior, vacuum thoroughly, and clean the windows, but reviews describe inconsistent results—windows and interior surfaces left with marks/streaks, poor vacuuming, and water puddles on rubber mats—making the service feel overpriced.
