About
Pitstop Carwash in Valley View, SA is a local spot to give your car a quick clean. Google rating sits at about 2.2, so keep expectations reasonable and read the reviews with that in mind.
There’s a DIY self-serve bays with brushes for a hands-on wash, and an automatic car wash option if you want a faster, hands-off rinse. These days it’s cashless, so pay by card or tap – coin slots are often out of action. Some folks note a minimum spend and odd auto charges, like a $3 card minimum, or a $12 mid-size SUV wash, or even a $15 auto charge.
Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you can swing by anytime. In my quick visit, the DIY bays were busy and the brushes felt a bit rough, with a few bristles shedding, so you’re not getting showroom polish, but it does the job for a quick tidy.
Automatic Features
This car wash offers an auto/automatic car wash facility, but the wash and dry cycle uses only brush and water with no soap.

I was next in line for the auto wash, the car half way through the cycle when it stopped midway. I am requesting a refund of credit for when it’s repaired.
Normally am very happy with the wash
