About
Imo Carwash, Taigum, QLD, is the local car wash you’ll probably spot along the main road.
Google has it at about 3.3 stars, so keep expectations grounded and take the feedback with a grain of salt.
It runs a drive-thru tunnel setup with an automatic machine wash, and you can stay in the car while it does its thing.
There are self-serve vacuums available, and some coin-operated options still pop up, so you can tidy little crevices after the wash.
Staff do a fair bit of detailing too – interiors and exteriors, seat shampoo, and they’ll even give mats and carpets a clean as part of the service.
When it comes to payment, cards are accepted (with a surcharge on some transactions), and cash is handy if you want to dodge that extra bit.
Prices vary, with basic washes advertised around the lower end and higher add-ons for detailing; you’ll see ranges like $10-$20 for washes and higher for seat shampoo and detailing.
They’re open daily 8am to 6pm, so it’s easy to swing by before or after work.
