About
Central Carwash in Cairns North, QLD. Google rating sits at 2.8. Some reviews mention a laser car wash on site. Vacuums are part of the scene too, with mentions of an industrial vacuum you can use.
Hours run 8:30am–3pm most days, with Sunday shorter from 9:30am–2:30pm. Prices are a common gripe, described as expensive or inconsistent, with basic washes and vacuums quoted from around $50 up to $450 for bigger jobs. A few customers say the result justifies the cost, like one VIP wash that left a car looking nearly new.
Payment methods seem mixed: several reviews say cash is expected, while one note mentions card payment finally being accepted after a machine hiccup. There are mixed feelings about service: some staff interactions are praised – quotes, cleaning, handover of the car – while others recount rude behavior, disputes, or safety concerns. One review even highlighted interior carpet drying as a win.
Automatic Features
Laser car wash service is offered at this location (one reviewer mentioned washing their car in the "laser car wash"). There are no reviews mentioning touchless or automatic washing options.
